Cracked cello?Will it be able to be fixed?

Well, I haven't looked at my cello yet,but I accidentally banged it yesterday without knowing that there is some crack or something. My dad took it to the shop today, and they said it's cracked and it has a few dents and that's why one of the strings sound funny(it's been like that a few weeks)my dad said there's this line where it's a crack.do you think they can be able to fix it?I'm really worried about it!
