Oil furnace makes hi pitch noise when igniting. what might be the cause?

I have Beckett parts on Lennox oil furnace. It has been quiet when it ignites, but lately it is making a hi pitch whine as it pumps the oil into the fire box. I changed the filter, but maybe the nozzle is bad or the pump is going.
