Can someone explain to me simply the relationship between DNA RNA amino acids, proteins and enzymes.?

I've been reading a lot about evolution and biology and consequently basic genetics, but I need a simple way to hold the basic relationships in my head. Can anyone recommend basic reading material? (My degree is in English but I have no science background.) Any help appreciated. Thanks.
