Have the Bush years destroyed the GOP image forever as being the fiscal conservative party?

You know I thought so when Comrade Bush left office, I thought it would take at least 8 years before the self-proclaimed "party of small government" would have any kind of basis for making such a claim. But then Comrade Obama came along, said "I see your trillions in boondoggle spending, and I raise a few trillion.". So 1 and a half years later, the Republicrats are back in the game, talking a good game, saying the right things, you name it. If they get the big chair back, only time will tell. Personally I think the Republicrats will fall right back into the same trap, trying to out mommy the Demopublicans.
