Wouldnt it be easier to have a worldly religion???Comments?

I know you cant create religions...because its not up to us humans.... but if we had one religion and the whole world practiced that religion.. wouldnt it be easier to get along with others??? isn't the problems of the world that we have today tied to religion and that we cant get along? so if we all had one religion we would all get along for some time and be more peacefull??? comments??? Im not saying theres anything wrong with the religions today...just thinking about why god didnt just creat one religion..and thats it....COmments? didnt mean to offend anyone..just a question
