How do i make adhesive sideburns and mustaches for a vintage mod hair Ken doll?

I have one of those vintage Mattel "Mod Hair Ken" dolls. It was made in 1972. These dolls originally came with a sheet of adhesive "stick on" sideburns, mustaches, and beards. I know that they are hard to find but what kind of materials would I need to get to make my own sideburns for my ken doll. I know it's like a fuzzy flocking material. HELP!!!!
